Remember house concerts? Small, in a comfortable room, with people like you. Remember Fifth Street Farms? Concerts are upstairs, in a big space with good acoustics. The music is generally unamplified instruments and voices, traditional American and international, of all types.

It’s been a long path to reopening. Like everyone, we’re concerned about your health and ours. We’ll begin the re-opening by limiting audience size to 30 people. Masks and proof of vaccination are required. To help our musicians compensate for the smaller audience size we are raising the entry to $30 per person. We’re trying this out and we’ll see how it goes. Thank you for your understanding!

Doors open at 7:00, music at 7:30.

Cost is $30, cash at the door, or Venmo prior to the performance. All money goes to the musicians. To pay by Venmo, make your payment to @fifthstfarms. In the Venmo memo section, include the name or date of the show and the first and last name associated with your reservation. Thanks!

Chair seating; you’re welcome to bring food and drink to share outside.

JOHN REISCHMAN & THE JAYBIRDS

The Jaybirds are an accomplished, experienced band at the peak of their powers, with musicianship of the very highest order. Each a master of their instrument, The Jaybirds put their own particular stamp on bluegrass, old time and acoustic roots music, blending traditional and modern styles. It’s easy to see that they really enjoy playing together. There’s plenty here to please both bluegrass traditionalists and lovers of modern American folk music, especially for those with an appreciation of great harmony singing as well as masterful instrumental playing.
